We collect only what we need to run Bhakti Parivar. We do not sell your data, show ads or build a profile about you. You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data.
1. Who we are
Bhakti Parivar (“we”, “us”) is a devotional service on WhatsApp. This policy explains what personal data we collect through the service and this website, why we collect it, and your choices. Please read it with our Terms and Conditions.
2. What we collect
- Your contact details, such as your WhatsApp number and profile name.
- The messages and voice notes you send us.
- The names and details you give for a sankalp, such as the occasion, and the people you take sankalps for.
- Payment details from our payment partner, such as the amount and whether the payment went through. We never see your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or bank password.
- Records of your requests for help and of your consent to receive messages from us.
3. How we use it
- To reply to you and provide the service.
- To take your sankalp, process your daan and send your receipt.
- To include names in the pooja and message you about your sankalp.
- To make the cards you send and welcome the people who open them.
- To answer questions, handle refunds and keep the service safe.
- To improve Bhakti Parivar.
- To keep the records the law requires.
We use automated tools, some run by trusted service providers, to understand your messages and reply. You always confirm a sankalp and its amount yourself before you pay.
4. Who receives your data
- Our partner mandir receives only what it needs for the pooja, such as the names.
- Others in the same pooja may see the names on its list.
- The person you send a card to sees your first name on the card.
- Service providers who help us run Bhakti Parivar, such as WhatsApp (Meta), our payment partner and our technology providers. Each handles data under its own terms and privacy policy.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
5. Where your data is kept
Your data is stored with our service providers. Some of them may process it outside India.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your data while you use Bhakti Parivar and for as long as we need it to provide the service, and payment records for as long as the law requires. If you ask, we delete your data, except records the law requires us to keep.
7. Your rights
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can:
