Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 7 October 2026
Bhakti Parivar is a devotional service on WhatsApp. By using it, you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
1. The service
When you write to us on WhatsApp, we send you the day’s blessing. For a daan you choose, a name you give is included in the sankalp at our partner mandir’s evening pooja. You can also take a sankalp in someone else’s name and send them a card.
Bhakti Parivar is not a mandir, a priest or an astrologer. The pooja is performed at our partner mandir.
2. Who can use it
You must be 18 or older to use Bhakti Parivar. WhatsApp’s own terms also apply to your use of WhatsApp.
3. Daan and payment
- Amounts are in Indian rupees. You choose the amount of your daan, from the minimum shown in the chat.
- We show you the details of your sankalp before you pay, and nothing is charged until you confirm.
- Payments are processed securely by our payment partner. You can pay by any of the methods shown on the payment page.
- Your daan is complete once the payment is confirmed, and we then send your receipt in the chat.
- Bhakti Parivar does not issue tax receipts or 80G certificates.
4. The pooja
Each sankalp is included in an evening pooja at our partner mandir, and the chat tells you which evening. If a name is wrong, tell us as soon as you can and we will try to correct it before the pooja.
5. Refunds
If a sankalp you paid for is not performed, or you were charged more than once for the same sankalp, we refund the full amount to your original payment method. Apart from these cases, a daan is not refundable once paid. To ask about a refund, type “Help” in the chat or write to support@bhaktiparivar.com.
6. Blessings, not promises
A sankalp is a prayer. Blessings are wishes, never promises, and we do not promise any result. We offer no astrology, predictions, remedies or cures, and nothing we send is medical, legal or financial advice.
7. Sankalps for others
Give us someone’s name only if you may share it. We send you a card to forward to them, and we do not contact them unless they write to us. We may disable a card that is misused.
8. Messages
We write to you about the service and the sankalps you take. Send STOP at any time to stop our messages, and START to begin again.
9. Fair use
Please use Bhakti Parivar respectfully. We may refuse names or messages that are abusive or unlawful, and we may stop replying to misuse.
Bhakti Parivar is not an emergency or counselling service. If you are in distress, please call the free Tele-MANAS helpline, 14416.
10. Limit of our liability
As far as the law allows, our liability for any sankalp is limited to the daan you paid for it.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using Bhakti Parivar after a change, the updated terms apply.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
